Room Redecorating

Hi friends,
     I'm redecorating my room! I've had the same stuff for years and years, so I figured it was time to get a new look. My idea is to kind of create this airy, floaty, relaxing space. Naturally I went straight to Pinterest to see if I find some of the ideas I had in my head in bedrooms already.

     I have this really cool tapestry coming in the mail on back order, so fingers crossed it comes! It's a pretty simply redecorating plan. Besides getting new curtains and a new bed spread, I'm pretty much just getting rid of a bunch of my old stuff. I hate clutter and I'm hoping my new room will have the clean, easy vibe I'm going for without too much new stuff.

Shoe Feature: The Garden of Earthly Delights

      If you've taken an art history class, you probably learned about Bosch. He's one of my favorites, and Dr. Martens are printing one of his most famous works on a shoe! They're totally perfect, but I tried them on, and they don't fit me. Docs never seem to fit right. *sigh* Oh, well. I figured it was worth posting here. They're so pretty <3

Memoirs of a Geisha

Hi lovelies,
     Totally obsessed with Gong Li right now. I don't know what this post would be categorized as, but I wanted to share. Memoirs of a Geisha is one of my favorite books; if you pay any attention to my Tumblr, I went on a reblogging spree related to it. I re-watched the movie recently, and UGH she's just so stunning.
