     I recently found this website, and it's just what I've been looking for! It has a plethora of fun printed, fit and flare dresses.

     I'm dying to order one, but I have to do a little more research into the fit of the dresses (sometimes top halves are too loose on me). Whether they fit me or not, they are some awesome pieces that should be shared!

     I am hopping on the "Soft short" bandwagon. It's too hot to wear my high waisted denim shorts with my crop tops and I don't really wear normal height pants with crops, so I hope these are the solution.

Resurfacing

Hi friends!
     I'm back! Well, I've been working a lot, but I'm going to try to post more. I work at a camp, so all I've been wearing for the last month since I got back from my orientation job are my work tees and Walmart athletic shorts with the occasional goofy dress-up accessories. I've been doing a lot of yoga and spending time with family. It's been really nice! I also got an Iphone, so I'm interested in seeing how pictures come out with it.

Summer Obsequies

Hi friends!
     Since summer is coming to a close, I thought titling this after the Emily Dickinson poem, "Summer Obsequies" would be appropriate. I had this casual, hippie boho thing going on today, walking around the garden acting like I have a green thumb, paying my respects to summer and getting ready to move into fall.

     This is a pretty park by my house. It's a great space, so Ally and I decided to experiment with some picture-taking. We had fun, and got to see a wedding! :]

Oh, Deer

Hi friends, 

    Pink, polka dots, friendly woodland creatures, I might as well be in a disney movie...kinda. The woodland creatures part refers to my deer necklace and owl shoes not my cat. My cat thought she was being helpful by jumping on me while I was trying to take the pictures. She was not, but I did manage to get a couple shots where she wasn't climbing all over me. 

Petsitting Shenanigans

Hi people,
     I was petsitting, so I thought I'd share some pictures I took goofing around with the cats and a sunflower. It was fun exploring the house to find spots to photograph; I love this house.

    I wore something comfy, and if I had known I was going to show you my outfit, I probably would have worn my gold sandals.

Dress up!

Hi friends,
     I was going through all my stuff deciding what to bring and what not to bring to college...aka I played dress up. Here's a dressy simple look. I didn't have anywhere to go, but I wish I could wear these shoes more often. They're a little too much to wear on errands, and they aren't going in my college suitcase.

      I was also trying to use a new camera my aunt was going to give away. It's just a Nikon Coolpix, but it's better that what I have supposedly. I think the cameras I used got confused from my dress pattern, because my face is blurry. Oh, I'm afraid cameras will always be a mystery to me.

Kimono You Didn't!

     Do you like my silly pun? I'm not a big fan of puns, but I like using them for fun titles. Anyway, I'm still working out camera stuff, but here's what I wore today.

    Kimonos are a great way to add layers to an outfit on a hot day. I love winter and fall fashion because of the options through mixing and matching. When it's hot, i just wanna put on a tank top and exercise shorts and be done. Kimonos, however, are a lightweight way to keep my summer wardrobe interesting. One plus about summer weather is cute sandals! I love my gold owl ones!!
